Guided Walks

The Royal Canal Amenity Group organise guided walks and talks along the canal from mid March to October. The walks are FREE and our members who organise and run the walks do so in their own time. However, to cover the cost of our insurance, you might consider giving a donation at the end of the walk. Your support of the Royal Canal and the RCAG is greatly appreciated.

Saturday 13th; Royal Canal Guided Walk, from Maynooth to the River Liffey

A guide walk for the Galway ‘Bushy Park Walking Group’ is taking place on Saturday the 13th. The walkers will depart Maynooth Harbour at 10.30am and follow the Royal Canal towpath to the River Liffey in Dublin.  The distance is just over 26km and all are welcome. However, the route is not suitable for wheelchair users
